  4. Membership in the RIMUG is of great value.  Join and get access to:

  6. MacStation - RIMUG's Local Electronic Bulletin Board System

RIMUG has an exceptional BBS which operates at up to 28,800 baud and uses high powered and Mac-friendly First Class© software that makes it an easy, fun and highly productive tool for downloading shareware and freeware programs, trading information with other users, selling and buying products and learning more about your Mac's capabilities.

Monthly General Meetings  - These meetings which are held once a month on a Thursday evening provide an opportunity to hear from software and hardware industry leaders about their latest products and to see live exciting demonstrations of these products.  In addition, you may have the opportunity to win software or other prizes at each general meeting.

Open Forums - Each month (usually the last Saturday of the month) an open forum is held at East Providence High School from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at which members are available to discuss problems or to exchange information or to download shareware and freeware from RIMUG's extensive software libraries.

  13. Monthly Newsletter  - Each month, RIMUG's newsletter, Apple Source, is published and mailed to each member.  This newsletter provides reviews of software and hardware, operating tips and more!
